Venue: SNEF Training Institute
   
  Participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment (SOA) upon successful completion and assessment of the training course
   
Fees Payable S$69.55 (inc. 7% GST)

Full fee is $650. SPUR funding is 90%.
Company or individual need not apply for this funding.

Requirements for Funding
  • Must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident
  • Attain 100% attendance
  • Undertake all assessments in the course

    SRP Funding is available only for company-sponsored participants
    Company can apply for absentee payroll for participants via www.srp.org.sg before the course starts.

    Workers 40 yrs old and above with ‘A’levels & below
  • 90% of hourly basic salary capped at $10/hour

  • Other Workers
  • 80% of hourly basic salary capped at $10/hour

    • ESS WPLN Level 5 or equivalent or GCE "O" Level pass in English
    • Collect, analyse and organize information to evaluate situations
    • Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
    • Plan and organize activities and events
    • Use technology to aid communication and data analysis
    • Work with privacy and confidentiality considerations that govern all human resource transactions
    • Work with models and methods for the management and development of human resource activities, services and programmes.

    The course will address the skills and knowledge required to determine and apply appropriate recruitment and selection methods. It covers choosing appropriate recruitment and selection methods for the job and context, applying the chosen method and reviewing its effectiveness.

    Select appropriate recruitment and selection methods

    • Work with stakeholders to identify requirements for positions to be recruited
    • Select appropriate recruitment channels and selection and assessment methods in consideration of relevant internal and external factors.

    Facilitate implementation of recruitment and selection methods

    • Review selection criteria to prepare interview/assessment materials to be used in the selection process
    • Provide support to selection panel in the use of interviewing and assessment techniques to implement the selection process
    • Facilitate evaluation of applications to short list candidates
    • Facilitate evaluation of assessment data to select the preferred candidate
    • Prepare package to provide offer to preferred candidates
    • Inform candidates of selection panel’s decision to close off the recruitment and selection process

    Review application of recruitment and selection methods

    • Consult with stakeholders to evaluate the outcomes of the recruitment and selection process.
    • Analyze feedback and data to establish effectiveness of recruitment and selection methods
    • Recommend refinements or modification to recruitment and selection methods
