The globalization phenomenon has caused economies around the world to evolve continuously and rapidly. Research has shown that there is a shift toward more highly skilled jobs. In response, employees need to adapt quickly to acquire higher level skills to remain employable and to add value to what they can contribute to their organisation. In other words, there is a need to have a paradigm shift. The notion of lifelong learning is no longer a philosophy; it is now a critical life skill.
The purpose of this course is to challenge the employees to have a global mindset and to take proactive steps to equip themselves with learning skills so that they will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to improve their professionalism. |
