Perhaps more than anywhere else, the business environment in China is evolving at a break-neck pace. Traditional 'top-down' management and the rigorous - but slow - execution of policies are no longer critical to MAKING CHANGE effective.
On the other hand, western managers and business leaders still struggle to make a significant impact on how business is conducted in China.
The importance and size of the Chinese market and its manufacturing capabilities are beyond doubt. Implementing knowledge and innovation strategies are more than ever the critical success factor for businesses in China. |

This workshop provides an accelerated learning experience on how to initiate and facilitate innovation in an organisation through a combination of hands-on interactive simulation, presentations, discussions of cases, exercises, role-playing and participants' sharing of experiences. It is built around the LingHe Simulation, a 'business game' that reflects the challenges and pitfalls of introducing innovation and change.
The LingHe Simulation confronts the participants with the complexity of real-life business decision making, where one has to make snap assessments and trade-offs, in a typical Chinese business environment faced with technological innovation. It provides a major step in developing appropriate skills required to deal with innovation and change in a realistic yet risk-free environment. |
