Achieving a Return on Investment on Human Capital
On 22 July 2005, Learning Edge, the management training and development arm of JobsDB.com hosted its inaugural series event, Achieving a Return on Investment on Human Capital at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

This full-day seminar featured four highly regarded speakers who spoke on performance management systems as well as shared on several real case studies and industries’ best practices.

Kicking off the day’s itinerary was Christopher Mills, Managing Director of Core Measures, who gave the opening remarks and overview to the 60 participants of this seminar.

Then, the first of four mini workshops was facilitated by Ian Till, Senior Consultant of Hewitt Associates Singapore. His topic was HR Balanced Scorecard: Linking People, Strategy and Performance. He was followed by Dr Margaret S Gremli, Director of Magellan Management Resources who gave a presentation on Strategic Based Training: Making Training Worth
Every Cent just before lunch.

After a hearty meal, Christopher took over the rostrum to speak on Developing a Competency-based HR System before Jacki Nicholas, Managing Director of InsideOut Consulting conducted the final workshop on Strategic Rewards and Recognition.

To round up the day’s schedule, there was a Q&A panel discussion where the attendees had a lively open discussion with the speakers.
